Blueberry Glazed Biscuit Donuts

- 1 (16-ounce) container biscuit dough
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1/4 cup blueberries
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- Supplies: bottle cap
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 F. Line a cookie sheet with foil.
- Open biscuits and place on cookie sheet. Use a bottle cap that is about an inch in width as a cookie cutter for donut holes. Tip: save the “donut holes,” and bake them along with your donuts.
- Place the cookie sheet in the oven for about 10 minutes, or until biscuits are golden and cooked through.
- While biscuits are baking, prepare the glaze. Place the powdered sugar, blueberries, and lemon zest in a blender or food processor. Add more blueberries or powdered sugar until desired consistency. You’ll want it thick, yet pourable. Then spread on donuts.
